FOOD – that which nourishes, grows and repairs our bodies and sustains us – is essential for life. Many of us have developed complicated relationships with food. Beliefs, habits, ideas and emotions may have clouded clear thinking about how to best feed yourself. Ever-changing, conflicting information about “nutrition” emerging at a rapid speed only adds to the confusion.
The good news is that this challenging situation offers an opportunity to return to simplicity and to well-being. When we get to the point where we are “fed-up” with confusion – and not healthy as a result – how refreshing is it to let go and create a new relationship with food based on our own innate wisdom and a common sense approach. With this new energy we can gradually upgrade, letting go of the attitudes and beliefs, as well as our food choices, that weigh us down, and stress and overpower our bodies. In a process of curiosity and discovery, a new story unfolds, as we nourish ourselves, grow strong and healthy, and delight in life!
